Great job dude, Check out my remix if u haven't heard it yet.
[P]
Thanks man, will do!
WOW.
this is a bajillion times better than mainstream dubstep. SO chill and sick at the same time.
[P]
TranceStep?
Whatever it is its awesome. I had to stop everything i was doing to just take in the awesomeness of this song. I bet you could make a VIP of this song with some nasty bass in it, that would be great.
Anyway, I love it
[P]
I'm having trouble defining it's genre too haha. Glad you like it! I poured quite a bit into that melody.
And actually Solkrieg is working on a remix; I'm expecting some pretty filthy basses :P
WHOA.
DUDE YOU ARE A BOSS! This sounds as good as Flux Pavillion!
I guess there could be more of buildup before the drop but i do kinda like he surprise of it.
Very good for head bobbing.
I'm definitely stay tuned on ur stuff and put it in my mixes when i can.
I'll do that from Soundcloud tho.
Thanks for the awsome music and check out some of my stuff.
[P]
Hahaha, that's awesome, man. Nobody's ever compared me to Flux, that's a pretty sweet compliment :) 'll also be anxious to hear my stuff in some of your mixes, man.
Thanks for the awesome review. I'll see you on Soundcloud!
Ok u wanted a useful review.......
The synths are very good but i have a feeling you used alot of presets. Use automation to give the buildup more feeling. The snare is too much in the midrange, layer it with a higher one or raise the highs with an EQ. The kick is ok although its kinda generic. Theres distortion and clipping on the part at 0:50. Try sidechaining the leads and pads to the kick. The switch at 0:36 is too abrupt. use soundfx like crashes ect.
What you need to do with this track is take it through the process shown in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kn2mG jxSr8

I hope this was helpful.

Very helpful indeed. You have improved my music-making finesse by *that* much, and for that I am very grateful!
Thanks!

Awesome.
I put this song in a dubstep mix of mine you should check it out.
Great work on this. I love the bass. The only thing missing is an outro.

Dammnn man, that's awesome! I liked how this one sounded when you mixed it in from the other one! Kudos! :D
And also, thanks a lot. I'm glad that you liked the song enough to put it in a mix. I think that might be a first for me so it's really cool to see that. Keep checking back for more tunes, man! I'm sure you'll find more you like ;)
I say this...
one. this is pretty cool
two. Alot of skrillex's stuff isnt really dubstep, its a mix between electro glitch and dubstep. If you want to get inspired you have to check out alot more artists that than that.
three. The textbook defenition of dubstep is 140bpm, half tempo beat, deep wobbly bass.
four. You dont have to match that exactly either. skrillex doesnt. just do whatever you think sounds good.
hope this helped
[P]
Ah. See, my friends keep saying "LOLOLOLOL SKRILLEX IS THE GAWD OF DUBZTEP LOLOL"...so I generally thought he does dubstep all the time. I apologize for the lack of knowledge. Thanks for the input!
-DJF!-
Great.
And yeah it does sound like the sims a bit at least up until 0:52.
Awesome work!
